The museum is cluttered with all sorts of strange and interesting things related to space travel, manned and unmanned. There is a monitor listing exactly which missions are being monitored when by the big dishes scattered about the facility. And there is a cafe! More

Essentially it is a functional communications centre for spacecrafts run by CSIRO for NASA. The antenna dishes form part of the NASA Deep Space Network with the other centres in Spain and California. A lovely drive in beautiful countryside to get to this complex and then bang out of nowhere is this enourmous satellite dish which looks so surreal. Very informative and great to see. More

Visited with wife and 25 year old son. We all found it interesting and quite scenic. It made a nice addition to our visit to the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. Don't get a coffee. More

This interesting complex is a great day out for the kids and adults alike. not fabulous in terms of hands on stuff but love the playground for kids with cafe inside for parents - great when you need a break. More
