What a great place, every person who visits the quiet capital of Australia, must go here and the War Memorial (just at the foot of the Mountain).
The view from the lookout is gorgeous, especially in a sunny day in the autumn, when the whole Canberra is colored by beautiful green, yellow, orange and red. It's near the downtown and very close to the War Memorial. Definitely worth the driving!
As you'd expect - the views from up here are fantastic - if you've got the time take one of the walking paths to the top. If not take the car - its a great way to see the layout of Canberra

If your visiting Canberra go there. It as the bet views of Canberra!! Also from the ack f the War Memorial try the walk!! It is great!! Beware in winter it's can be very cold!!!
This is a great place to visit once you have seen a bit of Canberra - so you know what is where and can relate to it. Also it is a nice drive up through typical Australian bush

Perfect for a great picture of parliament house and surrounds. What's also really great is it is only a 10 minute drive from the city and the road up there is quite good just watch out for kangaroos. Definately worth a visit if u are in Canberra.
