We had a voucher deal for a Friday night cocktail dinner cruise on the Murray River aboard the Captain Proud paddle wheeler. The friendly crew welcomed us on board and pointed toward the table number that we'd be sharing with another 6 voucher clutching people. “Do not go to Vinifera Forrest”

Through the greenies who have stopped cattle and sheep grazing in the Forrest, the whole area now is very unsafe because of the threat of fire. The scotch thistles are 2 to 3 metres tall, and there is nothing there that will eat them, plus all the vegetation after the floods last year. I strongly recommend that if you were... More

“Short cruise but excellent”

Captain Proud sail boat took us to the Murray River for a 3-hour cruise with breakfast, glass of champagne & fruit platter for 2 (myself & hubby). the view from the top deck was excellent, very tranquil water, and lovely houseboats ... its an excellent deal.
