We had a great tour of Highway 1 with Dave Engelberg's "Big Sur Tours and More". Dave is a brilliant guide and put together a perfect custom tour for us. We saw the best of what is probably the most scenic drive in the world, while relaxing with Dave at the wheel. Highly recommended.

View is awesome, the photo can not tell how amazon it is. You have to see it by your eyes and feel it with your heat. Highway 1 is not easy to drive, please check the weather condition before you go. Anyway, you have to go.

When you stay at Ventana ask for Greg. He has lived in the Big Sur area for his entire life. He knows the trails and where to go. It is worth every penny you spend with him and I guarantee you will feel exhilerated after the trip so much so you will want to give him a big TIP.
