Good week. Good trip. Good teacher. Good group of students. Actually, it was so much better than good. It was a fantastic trip. 8 days of yoga, 2 classes a day in the wooden pavilion with the sea on two sides, waves crashing on the rocks below, birds chirping sun shining breeze blowing. Two meals of organic, mostly vegetarian food... More

I did the yoga teacher training here which finished up April 2013, and stayed for another 2 weeks and a bit. I can´t put into words how beautiful it is here, the view is just breathtaking. Walking in for the first time before day 1 of teacher training, it blows you away, and six weeks later Im still in awe.... More

It's both worth the money and the effort in yoga-class. Make sure you book lots of massages - Nept is amazing! Vikasa's location right between Chaweng and Lamai isn't inducing for great spirituality but this is a good place to hang out, do yoga in a relaxed atmosphere which is more about the workout and eating very good food than... Love the location - up on the cliff with fabulous view as you dine & hear the wave as you practice yoga, very therapeutic. Love all the yoga teachers - professional, friendly. Tasty food.

The brand new yoga resort was close to ours, at the coral cove between chaweng and lamai. They serve amazing food, so fresh and tasty. You have to try the wrap, the best i ever tasted! Good prices, fresh and a variety of meals and snacks veggie or with seafood/chicken. View is amazing and staff friendly. You can eat a... More

I did not get a room at Vikasa because they were fully booked out. So I stayed on the opposite side of the road in the Pupha Mansion above the Thai boxing school. It's a good option if Vikasa is overbooked. The rooms are big and clean and I could take part in the yoga classes, enjoying the atmosphere and... More

My daughter and I had the most amazing 6 days at Vikasa. From great clean rooms (including fridge, water bottles daily, airconditioning (a must) and fantastic views). All the staff helped make us feel at home. 6 days is NOT long enough. The yoga was inspiring. I have been practicing yoga for 16 years and I am now a Hatha... More

Magical spot with a great view. A place that makes you feel at home even if you are abroad. The staff was lovely and the food was awesome. Also for day visitors totally recommendable. The Yoga-Teacher were very good, I especially enjoyed the classes with Kosta, Yoko, Betty and Kirsten. Yoga was practiced twice (now three) times a day in... More

Started yoga about a year ago after years of abuse with constant work travel around the world, figured a Thai island retreat would be a nice Christmas gift for myself. "Stumbled" upon Vikasa on facebook and decided to give it a try, though I was a little worried that the website pictures look too good to be true. Vikasa turned... More
