Just 30 mins drive from Perth city centre, Swan Valley offers an array of great wines, cheese, chocolate, ice cream and even art! Much closer that Margaret River, but still with a wide variety. Make sure you check out the Illusionary Art - metal artwork that changes as you look at it. A good idea is to combine your visit... More

The Swan Valley trail is a definite must if you cant make it down to MR. Actually it is worth doing anyway. I am more into food and wine though many of my younger friends really like the breweries. Must tastes are Houghtons and Sandalford. The latter has an excellent restaurant for a more formal fuller lunch. Upper reach Wines... More

I have been here a few times. Have attended a wedding here, several concerts at a couple of different venues and spent a day cruising around with my love exploring, stopping at wineries and breweries. Was fun. More

Even if you are not a drinker, there's plenty to enjoy on this trip. There's a brewery as well and not all just wineries. Food is great with lots of choices of restaurants. Beautiful natural environment surrounds you here. So much to do and see - with shops and even chocolate and ice cream "factories". More
