Must recommend, loads to explore, dark dungeons, oubliettes, 3 metere thick medieval walls, birds of prey = its got the lot.
Thoroughly recommend for a good afternmons worth of stepping back in time. Superb views in the area where the Battle of the Bulge was fought. Dead easy to park.

The view is tremendous, and you can walk through most of the castle (some of which is restored) and get a decent sense of how people lived and fought there. We were here with easter, and the egg-haunt for kids was brilliant, we also loved the bird show, self-guided tour was informative (although the earlier visit to the Archeoscope gave us a great sneak- preview!), the temporary exhibition was very interesting, reenactors great for the atmosphere, but we also did not quite enjoy the sanitory experience....
