This is not only a great chateau to visit for hours, make sure not to miss the Falconer show! Pity they do it only in French and Dutch More

Must recommend, loads to explore, dark dungeons, oubliettes, 3 metere thick medieval walls, birds of prey = its got the lot. Thoroughly recommend for a good afternmons worth of stepping back in time. Follow the booklet guide. Learn about Godefroid de Bouillon, Vauban, see the amazingly preserved castle, its corridors and rooms, architectural features and more. Get to see the predatory birds show. A trip to Bouillon is not complete unless you visit the castle! More

This castle is the real thing! It was built in the 1000's and kept being improved upon until the 1800's. It's been restored and you can roam freely into any room, dungeon, cave - a dream for kids ready for adventure! There is a "birds of prey" show that is not to be missed!!! See vultures, owls, eagles and other... More

The castle is pretty spectacular and really offers a lot. The view is tremendous, and you can walk through most of the castle (some of which is restored) and get a decent sense of how people lived and fought there. Everyting is clearly marked (in french) but there are written english guides avaiable. The falcon show is about 20 minutes,... More

We were here with easter, and the egg-haunt for kids was brilliant, we also loved the bird show, self-guided tour was informative (although the earlier visit to the Archeoscope gave us a great sneak- preview!), the temporary exhibition was very interesting, reenactors great for the atmosphere, but we also did not quite enjoy the sanitory experience....
