The surrounding and the view from the lake is very beautiful. The water is not too warm, though.

We visited Gmunden and sailed on the Traunsee with my son and his Ausrtrian partner. Gmunden itself is a very pleasant lakeside town and a must for ceramics collectors. We went on a round the lake trip , on the Rudolph Ippish a small traditional lake cruiser. We could have landed at a number of interesting looking villages around the...
