The views are terrific, especially over St Paul's bay. The walk up there is fine. I strongly recommend that you follow the donkey route. It is far quieter than the tourist walking route. The actual acropolis has had an awful lot of work on it and it is difficult to relax when busy.

When we eventually reached the top it was really interesting and the views were amazing. Unfortunately there was no health and safety found the steps and ruins really slippery and there were shear drops in places which could be potentially dangerous for toddlers and people with mobility problems.

Yes the Acropolis of Lindos has amazing views. The downside is getting there it's steep uphill all the way. You could take or use a donkey ride. But these animals look emaciated and aren't even kept in the shade or anywhere near water. In my view this is barbaric especially when I witnessed some rather large people burdening these lovely... Impressive castle and acropolis. Fabulous views from the top. But be prepared to do some climbing! Good to see they're still restoring parts of it to

We arrived at 10am and still couldn't believe how busy it was! We took the donkey ride up which was a fun experiance. The views were amazing and we got some great shots of the village and beach. The ruins themselves were impressive and well maintained.

Its a bit of a trek getting up there, unless you take a donkey ride but the views are spectacular. There is not much left of the remains but they have renovated some parts so you get a good feel of what is used to be like. Well worth a visit. There is a fee to gain entry to the... More

Great views all round are the reward for hiking up here. Quite slippery coming down though so wear grippy footwear.

For €6 this is definitely worth a visit. We went at around 10am on sunday and it was certainly a lot busier by the time we were leaving than when we arrived. The walk from the streets is very easy, its only 5-10mins from the square if you go directly up (following the signs through the streets) rather than via... More

Stones are everywhere, sometimes don't know if it's ancient or just dropped from the work? Interesting to imagine how this fortress looked like a few thousand years ago with great help from the explain tables. The entrance fee 6€ isn't much to explore this site and marvel the view

It was a very hot day and the sun was merciless on the exposed site. But had to be done in order to marvel and appreciate the wonder of how this was built up there. It is very smooth and slippy stone underfoot whilst walking up and down, which is steep but there is the option of a Donkey to do... More
