When we eventually reached the top it was really interesting and the views were amazing. Unfortunately there was no health and safety found the steps and ruins really slippery and there were shear drops in places which could be potentially dangerous for toddlers and people with mobility problems.

Yes the Acropolis of Lindos has amazing views. The downside is getting there it's steep uphill all the way. You could take or use a donkey ride. We arrived at 10am and still couldn't believe how busy it was! We took the donkey ride up which was a fun experiance. The views were amazing and we got some great shots of the village and beach. The ruins themselves were impressive and well maintained.

Great views all round are the reward for hiking up here. Quite slippery coming down though so wear grippy footwear.

Stones are everywhere, sometimes don't know if it's ancient or just dropped from the work? Interesting to imagine how this fortress looked like a few thousand years ago with great help from the explain tables. The entrance fee 6€ isn't much to explore this site and marvel the view
