Lots of slides, indoors and out, good facilities, but costs more than Cypriot national debt to get a family in!

Drove here one Wednesday in August with family for something to do rather than staying in the hovel that is Calais. Pleasant, bustling little seaside town with packed out restaurants and cafes. Being British and having two kids with us, we eat at a drive through Macky D's just off the motorway on the way there!!!!! Aqualud was easy to...

My friends and I visited in June 2012 only to be disappointed as we could not get in.To be honest,I wouldn't have wanted to as the place was one big building site with major works being carried out to the outdoor area. Le Touquet itself seems to have suffered as a result of the recession, the town looking a bit...

Expensive for a few hours which is all we had before it became dangerously busy at the start of the afternoon. Not many slides for four year olds, and the food was terrible with service to match.
What you need to know:
The two big slides are only really suitable for larger children / teenagers.
Men must wear speedos / lycra shorts.
It is expensive. Approx €20 per teen/adult. Lockers are extra €3 or €5
The outside bits are great for smaller children to play, but consider the temperature. The water is heated, but not hot.
My...

This review might be biased because I possibly picked one of the busiest days of the year to go. It was August and possibly a bank holiday. It took nearly an hour to drive into Le Touquet and going home it took nearly an hour to drive out again (not the fault of Aqualud of course). We knew before hand...

Opens at 10:30, always a small queue. Can park ouside and the carpark machines takes cards as well as cash.
Park has indoor and outdoor areas, all good.
NOTE Guys you have to wear lycra swimiming trunks so no surfing shorts, they won't let you in.
Plenty of space in morning and short queues for rides, got much busier in...

Very expensive for what it is. You would have to really spend the whole day for a family to get any value. Not all the the kiddies pool area squirty toys work. Most slides are better for teenagers rather than young children, and the no pic-nic rule makes for a captive audience forced to buy their food in house. If...

Aqualud was a great day out. We were a family of 3 adults and 1 very excited 3 year old boy. The outdoor section had a wonderful area for the toddlers ( a pirate ship, with many slides on it, all falling into shallow water) The out door slides were great too, nd the queues moved quite quickly.
It was...

After a difficult stop start journey through many traffic lights we finally found aqualud. Nearly didnt go in as it looked a bit shabby but glad we did. Had fun time with family. Lifegaurding was a bit odd. Ticked off for climbing over a barrier but french teenagers allowed to do death defying pool entries! You cant take in food...
