We arrived on a rainy windy day and it was fantastic, log fire roaring, beautiful setting, plenty of great wines to taste. You must visit the rest rooms!!! A must when visiting Margaret River.

"Laurance of Margaret River, your one stop Margaret River wine experience. Home of the famous "CHICK ON A STICK " Dianne Laurance had a vision to create a Cellar with a difference. Laurance, with its rustic charm and European sophistication, offers visitors unique tastings in magnificent surroundings. The building has been constructed of prefabricated concrete and its unique finish gives the perception of age. Ironbark timbers sourced from the old Wooloomooloo Wharf in Sydney feature throughout the building. The Cellar is adorned with beautiful artworks and sculptures from around Australia. The grounds boast a 1,000 bush rose garden and two spectacular sculptures.The building has a large open fire, is air conditioned and is family friendly with a fabulous playground for the children.Tastings are offered by way of two choices of trays at a minimal cost. Patrons are encouraged to sit at a table with their trays and relax and enjoy the ambience of the magnificent surroundings and background music.Laurance produces the premium range "Laurance of Margaret River" which consists of 10 national and international award winning wines. The property itself has also been awarded numerous accolades.Casual, family friendly, affordable meals that focus on local produce is available daily.Tour groups are welcome and parking and turning circles have been provided for buses.

We were looking for a winery open on Good Friday and were struggling until we came across this place. To be honest this was the highlight of our whole weekend, the prices were reasonable, food was great (we had a tasting plate), and we sat outside on the beanbags with a fantastic view and a bottle of Rose. Highly recommend!

LOL.......your review made me laugh as I do just that with my husband Peter. I feel like I could be anywhere in the world.
The beanbags are proving to be a great hit with people even ringing up to book them for lunch.
Chef Luke is taking a few months off after Summer but he will be back in September....

This winery is amazing,very femine and unique thanks to the amazing owner Diane.there are chandeliers made of wine glasses and an amazing statue in the lake out front.the toilets have to be seen to be believed like a room each toilet! Lovely friendly staff there.

After driving past the golden lady in the lake several times we decided to pop into Laurance. The amazing grounds are worth a visit in themselves, but the cellar door experience is wonderful. Gorgeous grounds and lovely to see the Easter bunny here on Easter day, the free face painting and chocolates for the kids was nice. It made my daughters day even more special. The roses and the interior is AMAZING JUST BEAUTIFUL (even the bathrooms are amazing! lol)
