Love the views, abandoned army camp and walks to the top of the fort. Museum could do with updating, but it's informative.

What can I say go and see it if you love history. There is a beach and scenery is lovely too. Dont forget the rusty nail pub that is a must see too

We visited Dunree Fort while in the Buncrana area and found it a very interesting place to visit. Plenty of space to park and a helpful attendant was on hand to provide information.It was intersting to see just how many foreign visitors and school children were present on the day. Interesting place to visit and see. Great informative museum with some outdoor exhibits. Also great views from here

I visited this museum in the summer of 2009 and it was in a wonderful spot you could see for miles no wpnder it was used as a fort. I really enjoyed my visit as my great uncle had been a medic there during the war so it had a special meaning for me but even so it would still... More

i loved this place the guns are big and the museum is very interesting , the views are fantastic and it has a cosy little café

Have been to the museum a few times in the past and will gladly go back again and again, this is a great insight to local history and beautiful views over the water best to go on a dry calm day.

I am realy interested in local history sites this one has it all you get the real feeling of what the soldiers went though in there time in this fort the whole experience is well woth a vist for very little cost.

Fantacstic Value and Spectacular Views Great historical articfacts and some great Military Weapons on display, near by are great walks and beeches totally recommended. 10/10

Visited Dunree fort and Muesum . There is plenty to see if you like military collections . There is collections from around the European military from Nazi badges to uniforms , guns , missiles , interesting information and a letter from THE Spike Milligan .! There is walks with amazing views that are not part of the paid Museam .... More
