I shudder to think of how close my wife and I came to not attending the Bru Baru music/dance show during our two nights in Cashel; a mealtime acquantance admonished us not to miss it, so off we went.(on foot from the Cashel Palace Hotel nearby). It was outstanding/fabulous/authentic/energized/energizing/uplifting! Add any superlative of your own choosing; it applies.
Afterwards we...

A modern and welcoming Theatre with seating arrangements that enable all to have a good view of the stage. Whilst there is disabled access to the venue the internal design then invites a few shallow steps to be negotiated to reach the toilets, cafe and bar. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the gift shop offers a variety of...

Our trad music options were limited by having our daughter along, and this was a perfect alternative. Fabulous musicians and dancers, and 100% devoid of cheesy, touristy chatter. After the show they invite you downstairs for more music, and we even learned a simple Irish dance. A very enjoyable evening, one of the high points of our trip.

The musical performance had substance and was quite accessible to wide audiences. The performers are first rate; virtuosic in execution and expressive without being overly sentimental. These folks are serious about their traditions while...

We went to the music on a Saturday night. Absolutely awesome Irish music. As an Irish person myself I can say that this is some of the best stuff I've ever seen. It is traditional music and dancing performed in a lively and passionate manner by some wonderful energetic and enthusiastic performers. There is great dancing, but the harpists are...

Go see the show, it's great.
It's a little bit like Riverdance but with a more local feeling. It's not as big obviously, but the dancers and musicians are all excellent. The show lasts about an hour and after the show you're invited to another room with tables and chairs. The musicians and singers change into their normal clothes and...

Our family really enjoyed our evening at Bru Boru. The show consists of traditional Irish music, singing and dancing. Afterwards you are invited to stay for refreshments and take part in an informal evening of sing alongs, dancing and audience participation. If your stay brings you in the vicinity of Cashel this is definitely worth attending.
