Apparently owned by the council but maintained supervised and advertised a bit by the laudable but slightly sternly named Tamar Protection Society. This small neat and obviously restored cottage gives a feel of scale and basics but is a little precious in presentation and the replacement eg of of beams and the 1950s style wall lights in at least one... Tucked away in a quiet corner on Culver Road Saltash is a remarkable surviving example of a small domestic dwelling from the Tudor age. Born 2 miles away, just talk often to a gentleman who volunteers his time to greet visitors. And now 5,000 miles away, I'd like to SEE it. like to read of some of its content..AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT ! Lovely peaceful garden, it was such a lovely day. The garden has great views over the river to Devon, in the shadow of Brunels Royal Albert Bridge. We enjoyed the free teas !
