We always make a point of buying Ice cream from here whenever we are in the area. There is a huge selection of ice creams and they are delicious. It is also great supporting a local farmer- yes it is made on farm. My children love seeing all the animals- all of which are happy and well cared for.

some great flavours of ice cream and kids love where the ice cream is served as it spins around. Its on a working farm so you get to see the animals and depending when you go you might see some baby animals.

We visited Matlock Meadows after earmarking it after reading other reviews on here. The ice cream was delicious and you got a good sized tub for £2. As an added bonus the kids got to get up close to baby pigs, cows, lambs, rabbits and chickens. Definitely a place to stop at some point on your travels.
