Interesting permanent exhibition on science-fiction. Temporary exhibitions worthwile. PS: small museum, a tour takes you about 1 hour.

I wouldn't call this place a museum in the common sense of this word. It's a tremendous library of old sci-fi books and magazines, which are in French. The place is wonderfully kept and doesn't give an impression of having hundreds years of history. The museum houses temporary exhibitions, some of which are rather curious.

i live close to this meseum. if you like any kind if sci-fi it is the place to be. They always have a exhibition open to public, close to the train station

The Maison d'Ailleurs is a very cool place. We've visited it several times and the exhibitions change frequently.
The topic of the museum is science fiction and utopia, and the exhibits are either about artists in the field or on themes (architecture, space, robots, etc.). It's not really a high-tech place, so don't expect electronic gizmos, but original art (sculptures,...
