I'm a teacher and I love taking my students there. It's fun, interactive and simple. It's beautifully located by the lake so it's nice to walk down there. The garden outside is really fun. The children love playing outside and learning inside. Perfect afternoon outing! However for teens it can get a little boring, it's best to get a guide... More

In 2007 we took a cooking class with our cousins who were visiting from the US. Each of the five children made three Suisse pastries and it was the highlight of their trip.... More

The museum has potential, but although it is supposed to be interactive, not one of the activities was working when I was there. teh computers were down, the treadmill out of order, etc etc. There are cooking classes for kids, but, those are extra £££. Anyway, for a museum that mostly promotes the Nestle brand, I don't think one shoudl... More

I visited the Alimentarium in May 2006 and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to Switerland. The museum itself is in a beautiful setting, sitting right alongside Lake Geneva. Inside I found the exhibitions to be the most well-curated that I have ever laid eyes on. I was immersed in the experience of the museum;... More
