This is a superb museum and we loved it all, there is so much to do and see and gave us many happy memories of our childhood. Definitely recommend this for all age groups (well perhaps not tiny ones - from 4 yrs up) More

It was a really great experiance. The tutor - although young was knowledgable and relaxed. The interesting thing was that the other attendees (all ladies) ranged in ages from late 20's to a wonderful lady of 82!... More

What a great place to visit, Fascinating and informative. Lovely people work there and ready to talk to you about the history of the place and life in the Victorian times More

We visit the museam on a regular basis. Great if you buy a year pass, its lovely for a walk around or for a more in depth visit. Always a large que and chip shop, which is disappointing. And obviously gets full when schools are off. More

Having been to the museum many times my last visit on Sunday 13th May with two young children and a young adult with a learning disability was very disappointing. It was a cold day so after spending a couple of hours or so in the mining village we decided to call it a day, grab something to eat and come... More

I have been back several times over the years and never failed to enjoy the experience. There is always something new to see. As I... More

It is years since I went to Beamish and this was my husband's first visit. When we paid we automatically got a pass for a year to go back at any time for free which is great. It is not necessary to walk any distance as there are trams and buses every few minutes round the whole site. We went... More
