Excellent facility.easy to find with lots of parking and great displays of local and exotic tropical fish. In addition to very good displays the tour was very educational with good materials on global warming and climate change, etc. Children at the aquarium were really excited by the huge sharks swimming around them - - and as mature adults we enjoyed... Stayed away too long but took the opportunity when the weather wasn't too good. The management seemed to be unprepaed for the surge of visitors brought in by the rain and it took a long time to get tickets. Once in the seemingly random maze of galleries took a little careful navigation but once into it the exhibits, displys, galleries... More

I have not been here for a number of years but popped in due to inclimate weather. It has changed since my last visit sometime ago. I liked it then and I like it even more now. They have introduced some sea lions to the display and it was good to see them swimming around quite a large enclosure. The... More

You can easily spend up to 3 hours in this very nice set up aquarium, all is very good documented and lots of things to see. Also the last part of the visit round is good to make you realize again how vulnerable our oceans are and how important it is to treat them well ! A nice experience !

Excellent display of interesting creatures, especially the tactile pool! If you are peckish, the prawns(generous portion) with a glass of white wine & bread are thoroughly recommended.

Great day out - informative and entertaining. Understand the Opal Inn is very close but not sure a world-class (yes I've done Sea World Florida) attraction like this has chosen a suitable hotel partner for their package offer.

We visited Boulogne-sur-Mer over the weekend and spent a few hours at Nausicaa. The centre is excellent and has a lot to offer. The tickets are initially a little pricey, €60.00 for two adults and three children but you could spend the day there if you wanted to. You can also leave the centre and come back if you wish... I went with two friends and I think we spent longer than the recommended time there. There were lots of cool animals to see - my favourite was the giant octopus - and places to stop for a drink and a snack on the way round. I did feel a bit sorry for some of the larger animals as their... More

Are you interested in fish and the sea? This is the place to come, more interesting than the aquaria I've visited in England. A thoughtfully organised tour through the various displays and well signed special presentations throughout the day. Excellent information in both French and English (properly translated) and English audio guides are available. The eating opportunities are good for... More

We were staying in France on a week break, an needed somewhere to take the kids. So decided on Nausicaa. Biggest aquarium in Europe apparently. We travelled from st valery, so bit of a drive, but very well sign posted, and easy to reach as we had no navigation. Upon entering, staff were very friendly, and luckily they all spoke... More
