We were fortunate to have Rebeka as our instructor. The market visit was very informative and having samples was great. The class was small so we had lots of attention. The cooking facility was beautiful and everything at your fingertips. Our meal of veal was delicious and the creme brurlee was to die for. Purchasing everything at the market that... More

All I can say is WOW!! The cooking class with Rebeckah was absolutely wonderful! After having gotten lost for an hour, she was more than patient in helping us find her and the rest of the group at the market. She is very knowledgeable about Paris and about how the French enjoy the art of cooking and eating. Marguerite's home... More

This team building experience for University nursing students was one of the best for shopping in the markets for fresh, natural ingredients then cooking as if you are French. This cooking school was prompt with emails and recommendations, met us on the train platform for our day, and taught us about regional French diets and health. Wonderful - Merci! More

I've taken another cooking class abroad (in Barcelona), so I'm able to compare different experiences. Though Marguerite's class was more expensive than Barcelona, it was affordable compared to other classes offered in Paris. I preferred the menu in Barcelona because it was more authentic (or at least what a tourist would consider more authentic). We made pork and tarts in... More

I greatly enjoyed the cooking class. The kitchen was well-appointed. The veal stew with preserved lemons and the tomato/onion/parmesan layered tart was delicious. I greatly enjoyed sampling the cheese and learning more about the food, cheese, and wine in France. Sylvie conducted the class, and her great love of food and cooking made the whole experience truly delightful. Ours was... More

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class at Marguerite's. Classes are taught in a beautiful, spacious kitchen. Sylvie, our instructor, was fluent in English, and her sunny personality made the class a delightful experience. The meal we prepared was delicious. We can't wait to try it at home! More

Very pleasant experience - market trip very interesting and colourful, cooking class uncomplicated and fun. Sylvie showed us lots of tricks, down to haggling with the butcher - definitely not the usual tourist this to do. I felt very lucky to be invited into someone's home to share this experience. Stairs to kitchen are a bit of a worry though.... More

I planned this trip as an outing for my parent's visit to Paris (am currently living here full time). It turned out to be a truly unique, fun and informative experience! Not only were we able to make classic French food (duck a l'orange, nougat glace) from the freshest ingredients I have ever seen (market trip & fresh eggs straight... More
