The Mall outlet is accessible by shuttle bus (SITA); direct transport from Florence city proper to the outlet and vise versa but with limited number of travels. Note that train is not recommended hence you will get lost in the middle of nowhere. If you want more selections better take another bus heading to Barberino Designer's outlet. More

The previous comment is absolutely correct. Do not take the train. I showed up in the afternoon and was standing at a deserted train station with not a taxi in sight.
