It is a very unique church, having been built around a cave where the Arch Angel Michael has been seen four different times (a very impressive and unique claim to fame). The hotel was excellent but a bit outside of the city and accomodations were great including the food and service. One... More

One of the highlights of our Apulia tour was a visit to Monte Sant' Angelo. The basilica and grotto is wonderful. A most for visitors to the Gargano Peninsula! Don't forget to visit the great Norman Castle nearby. More
