We took a day trip from Rome to relax at the terme. It took us about 1.5hrs to get there. The water was very warm and we stayed the entire afternoon. There weren't a lot of people maybe because it was a windy day but it wasn't cold. Be sure to bring a lunch or something to eat because there... More

Water temperature and atmosphere were the plus thing there. It feels a bit crowded, specilly in changing rooms, although they´re very spacious. The fact that deckchairs are hired should be clearly pointed out. There is no sign there and for non italian speakers it is not easy to understand you are supposed to pay the stewards for the use of... More

It was the second time we went to the Terme di Saturnia and there will be a third.. There are various choices, which might not always be apparent: you can go to the well-known Hotel Spa/resort, and if not residing there, you can pay the daily entrance fee and enjoy all the pools and jacuzzis for day guests, whereof three... This summer we decided to have vocation in Tuscany - Milano, Portofino, Pisa, Firenze, Chianti, Monterregioni, Pitigliano, Saturnia, Rome. One year ago we visited Provence. My opinion, I like more Provence, more fiendly and accesible for tourism. But...... Something I liked special in Tuscany - CASCATE SATURNIA with sulphuric waterfalls 38 degrees was great. My hair after I swim there... More

The Terme di Saturnia is a great way to spend an afternoon in Tuscany. We drove to it from Pitigliano and it was easy to find and quite scenic from the high road we were on. Once you get to the springs parking is free. Many people change into their swimsuits in the parking lot. The water gushes out of... More

We went here about 1 week ago to visit the thermal pools for the day. It was a bit tricky to find even with GPS. With a day pass, you get access to the thermal pools and the changing rooms. You must pay extra if you want to use the chairs outside. Also, towels are not provided, so be sure... More

While in a shop in Volterra, we saw a postcard showing this natural spring waterfall pouring into natural limestone pools in which people were frolicking. We could not resist finding out more about this place and there was not much to find. So we embarked on a 3 hour drive from Colle di Val D'Esa to this place we weren't... More

I have frequented Saturnia Spa Grosetto on 5 different occasions. Once you get used to the sulfur smell and concentrate on the results on your body of it's properties, stress just melts away. There are many pools each with it's own heeling properties. Some are warm, some hot, some cold and some with jets to melt your stress away. There... More
