Noli is a very pretty, very interesting little town of the Ligurian coast. It is small and you will tour it in about 10mn but, you will probably enjoy a gelato on the main piazza or take a look at the church San Paragorio.

I can't tell you what's so special about Noli ... it's beautiful centre, little shops, the castle above, the fishing boats on the beach? All this of course but also the atmosphere here and that's something you have to feel, it's difficult to put it into words.
There are a lot of hiking paths and mountainbike trails in and around...

We didn't spend much time in Noli but as soon as we came out of the tunnel we parked and took some photos of the ancient town walls that formed the border of this former maritime republic. The promenade is dotted with palms and people can stroll along and enjoy the sea views, or window shop in the arcade.

Not too busy, very beautiful, great selection of places to eat. Lots of lovely old towers inside the city walls.
