The home of the artist & archtect Giorgio Vasari is worth visiting if you are interested in art. The paintings are beautiful & the museum is well laid out with good explainations of the artwork. There is also a walled lovely garden with a goldfish pond that you can enjoy in good weather.

The house itself is not too big. However, it is a real jewel. The ceilings and walls are all frescoed - and are lovely examples of Vasari's work. Apart from a few objects, the house is not furnished but this does not mean less interesting. it might be a plus since you can walk around without the fear of knocking... More
