Wonderful birds, full of personality, wonderful helpful and kind staff. I loved this place and so did my kids who descended into fits of tears when we had to leave. We felt like we'd made lots of little friends. The birds were gentle, there were so many types of colourful birds, although the Lorikeets were definately the more outgoing! Cheeky... More

I went here with my sister (20s), mother and 87year old grandfather. When I saw the admission price ($11) I nearly walked away but I'm so glad I didn't!!! I love nature, and have always loved watching the beautiful rainbow lorikeets in our backyard so to get up close to them here was wonderful. Some can be a bit unexpectedly... More

They obviously care about what they do, but you can tell they are in need of money to maintain the birds and their environment. The kids loved it but as an adult you couldnt help but notice the improvements needed More

It was wonderful being surrounded by beautiful birds! I took my mom there when she visited and we both had a great time! A couple parrots even landed on us, which we really enjoyed! I normally don't like to see captive birds, but this enclosure is very large and the birds all seem happy and well cared for. If you... More

Although not huge in size, the walk in aviary allows you take walk through a nicely kept garden where you will be able to feed and get up close to a large number of spectacular tame birds. More

I've seen my share of tourist sites around the world, and with a cheap voucher I thought I should finally see this nearby site. A lot of the birds don't look in the best of health. There aren't many places to sit - on a busy day it's a bit crowded. More

This is so much fun, I don't even know where to start. I had a look at the web site, and thought "Yeah, another park. 30 minutes max". I was so wrong. You can buy cut up apples at the entrance, in plastic bowls. You will then be greeted by a big white cockatoo, say hello to you. Then you... More
