We took our young (11 and 3) daughters to Chicago for a shopping trip and felt the Megabus was exactly what we expected for 20 bucks!! Seats were comfortable, roomier than a plane, we were freezing with the air on but you can't make everyone happy with the temperature so bring a jacket or blanket! the one issue we had... More

For my $36 round trip ATL to NOLA it was beyond my expectations. Clean efficient roomy I sat on top deck that has skylights only pitfall is no one is there to clean the only bathroom which is like a Porta potty. I wish Megabus website gave the entire bus route ( stops in Montgomery & mobile) love it that... More

First time. My concern was leg room (37" inseam) and it was fine for me (better than FunBus). Bus was not crowded so we could spread out. To Chicago was daytime (Columbus downtown > OSU > Indianapolis > Chicago). Stopped once outside Indianapolis for break. Return was overnight - it went faster, but we also went to Cincinnati after Indianapolis,... More

I have used Megabus to go between NYC and Washington, DC for the last 3day years. I have progressively experianced a decline in their services during this time. It appears to be the new norm for buses not to be on time to pick you up and in turn then drop you off. Gone are the friendly staff I used... More

I traveled from New Orleans to Atlanta on the Megabus. This was my first experience. I purchased my ticket on the day of travel, printed it and headed to the bus stop. The bus stop is nothing special, it has a sign that let's you know the Megabus stops there but no seating or shelter, just you, your luggage and... More

I took the same route twice this April. The bus left Toronto on time, but arrived an hour and a half late in Buffalo Airport. It was packed on both occasions so exiting immigrations took some time. In one instance, I was accommodated on the 8AM Toronto departure even if my ticket is at 11AM. Allow sufficient connecting time for... More

The Megabus stop is located on Bienville in New Orleans between two parking lots. There is no area to sit down or shelter if it rains. The 9:30 p.m. bus was about 20-25 minutes late, but it could have been due to the rain. There were only about 15 people who boarded the bus in New Orleans but a lot... More

The tickets from Harrisburg to Washington D.C. tickets are so expensive by comparison (2-3X per mile) compared to every other stop they have going to Washington D.C. even if you get tickets a couple months in advance. It is only a 2 1/2 hour trip and yet it costs more than trips to Washington DC. from cities such as Pittsburgh,... More

Took Megabus from Pittsburgh, PA to NYC this past weekend. The Pittsburgh stop is UNDER the Lawrence Convention Center, so would be covered if it was raining. Neither bus had any shock absorbers left and Rte 80 across New Jersey is not in good shape at all. We felt every single bump and pothole in the road on both busses.... More
