This is a beautiful theatre, designed by the renowned Frank Matcham. Recently fully restored to a very high standard. Very economically priced, with further over 60 discounts.. A wonderful Edward Matcham theatre which though nearly in ruins has risen like a phoenix from the flame. A must for all theatre goers More

the entertainment provided by the gaiety is spectacular! The best are the dance shows! I watched an evening of dance produced by Pippa Salter and Marie Louise Britz! the dancers are magnificent and i would reccomend seeing there next show. I say this because through out all the ballet i have witnessed there's is truly spectacular More

Only 2 of Matchams grand opera houses , one in Ireland & one here. Elaborate decor , still very much alive as a theatre. Super ambiance. More

Beautiful little theatre in Douglas. On the mina promenade with car park within a few minutes walk. Local productions are of a very good standard Theatre has offered tours in the past, but best check for information More

The Gaiety Theatre was purchased by Isle of Man Government in the late 1960s or early 1970s to save it for the Manx Nation (and for all lovers of the live theatre).
