I was too late to ride the train so I walked up a steep path from "bungalow", to the summit. The track starts next to the railway station. It's quite a good track with very little mud or water, and slate and rock to walk on in places. It does get very steep towards the top but it is not... More

The trains are slow and rickety. However, the views from the top are superb and the food in the cafe is pretty good as well. More

i think this cafe must be very eco-friendly as they obviously recycle the washing up water to make the hot chocolate and also can make one tea bag last all day. More

they say you can see 7 kingdoms from the top of the highest place in the Isle of Man. Just scrapes in to be a mountain at 2034 feet.
