We could,nt believe it was free entry for such a big museum full of interesting things, you definately need to allow a few hours to look at everything. The restaurant is very attractive and our lunch was very good indeed .The soup and sandwich meal deal was very reasonably priced also.Nice products in the shop as well for gifts More

This place is well organised and has a great wealth of knowledge. You get all the information you need and all the time you need to see it. There is also a little cafe with good food. More

I went to the museum on my first trip to the Isle of Man. It was well worth the visit. The staff were very friendly. I would have like to see all round the museum but time was limited for me. I hope the go back to get a better look around. More

As a free museum this should be on your list to visit even if you go round fairly quickly, just enough of various things not to be boring but to learn some interetsing facts. Cafe is nice but slightly pricey More

Having visited so many museums which comprise primarily dusty exhibits in glass cases the Manx Museum is a refreshing change. Plenty for visitors young and old to enjoy. More

I hate museums. (I did the Prado (Madrid) in 20 minutes and left bored.) The Manx Museum kept me interested for two hours. It is simply superb. Make sure you watch the film on the history of the island. An absolute must-see if you are lucky enough to go to the Isle of Man. One of the best museums I... More
