Very convenient woodland to explore when staying in Grantown-on-Spey, a good chance of seeing a crested tit, and with a lot of luck you may also catch sight of a capercaillie. Be sure to buy a map of the woods from the BWWC at The Grant Arms Hotel, to save getting lost! More
