The reserve is suitable for all levels of experience, as there's superb interpretation, and very helpful, knowledgeable staff. I desperately wanted to see the ospreys, who out on a great show! Big screen in the visitor centre, where you can get a cuppa and snacks whilst watching the osprey nest cam, or the bird and squirrel feeders from the large... More

Amazing combination of the old ruin and restored church. Very interesting history on many story boards.

Well sited bird hides, with views across the loch to the Osprey nest; great viewing window inside the Centre to watch the small birds, squirrels etc at the feeders; HD Screen of the happenings in the Osprey Nest and friendly and enthusiatic staff and volunteers. Clean toilets, basic baby changing facilities, disabled parking, Cofee machine and a small shop area

We did a walk from the Caldy Carpark to the Loch. Lovely day and great walking on good tracks which are well signposted. There is a small visitor centre and hides at the Loch and price of £4 each to get in was reasonable for the good work they did. Lots of wildlife to see but the star of the... More

If you like birdwatching, this place is super. It is free, in the country and has loads of information. The osprey is world-famous and has been coming back in nesting season for years and years.

Last Saturday we spent a very happy few hours watching the birds ( and a red squirrel) on the feeders. Also we were lucky to see a mother mallard with her brood of eleven chicks. All this from the comfort of the visitors centre. No 1 grandson loves to visit here because of his great interest in all wild things.No2... More

We made this is a "must see" on our trip to Scotland as I have been watching the ospreys via the webcam. The viewing window from inside the visitor's center is great. We saw all kinds of beautiful birds that we do not get to see in the States as well as the adorable red squirrel! That was worth the... More

Decided to go here on recommendation of the tourist office in Dunkeld. We expected to be able to see the ospreys from up close. Nothing whatsoever. Could only view the birds through a webcam or binoculars. The latter occupied most of the time. Do not spend £4 on this as you can access live footage of the birds on swt.org.uk... More

This place is run by the RSPB and is an excellent sight with clean and well equipped hides, the staff are very knowledgeable and keen to point out any thing of interest. I would recommend a visit when the Ospreys are at the Loch as you get a good view of the nest and if you are lucky you may... More
