There really is something for everyone at this fabulous museum of fairground rides, organs, steam engines and vintage cars. If you're an oldie like me, you'll be taken back to your childhood on a nostalgia trip. If you're a young 'un, I'm sure you'll enjoy the rides. I had a go on the galloping horses, but there is also the... More

We have a lovely afternoon at Scarborough fair - interesting exhibitions, classic cars/lorries/stream engines both full scale and models, travellers caravan which was absolutely fantastic - I spent an age just looking at the beautifully restored interior, fairground rides which I remember going on - even mum went on a gallops, a big ballroom, teas and cakes etc. Continuous music... Enchanting and definately transports you to a bygone era. Escapism in a lovely setting and educational as well as fascinating to a younger generation too! Nice places to eat and stay nearby as well.

There were so many fairground organs, have forgottten the proper name, also a big ballroom where you buy teas etc., in this room the instruments take turns to play, there are also fairground rides you get one free with entrance fee £5.00 after that it is a £1. 00 a go. There are the horses, switch back and dodgems, although... More

Scarborough Fair Collection is based in a Holiday Park check days of operation as not open everyday. The collection is in a couple of un-inspiring wharehouse units and from outside looks as if it might be a waste of money. Don't let this put you off - when you first go in you enter through shop which has souvenirs etc... More

What a lovely place, something for all the family (aged from 84 to 4). Lovely going on the fairground rides I remember from my youth. It was all well laid out and interesting for everyone. Cafe was nice, clean and reasonably priced. The fresh cream chocolate cake was yummy (and a very generous slice). Staff were all very friendly and... More
