Excellent bus service - frequent and reliable. Commentary very good and useful to have hop on-and-off option. Adults £7, OAPs with UK bus pass are free.

Until two months ago the tour began at Eastbourne Pier and ended at Beachy Head, returning to its starting point. It has now been extended from Beachy Head and continues to Birling Gap, travelling close to the Belle Tout lighthouse, before going on to the village of East Dean. It does not reverse at the village for the return journey...

It was not. It was VERY drafty, but you do not have to sit on the top, you just stay on the ground. This city sightseeing actually do not show much through town, only along the seaside to Beachy Head, it is well worthy.
You can buy a ticket and you can on these Hop-on Hop-off buses board and get...

This open top bus goes all the way from the pier in Eastbourne to Beachy Head. Apparently if you have an English senior citizen bus pass you don't have to pay.
