A great place to spend some hours, or a whole day. On a beautiful day the park is incredible and vibrant with life, winter or summer. A kind of ambient I think goes for people with a lot of different interests, it being playing a game, sunbathing, taking a walk, going out with the kids, with the parents - or... More

Lovely park, full of Vigeland's sculptures to admire and enjoy, especially in the morning hours. The main alley leads you through to the other end. The park is open 24 hours.

A must see while in Oslo. An outdoor museum that is free of charge. Vigeland's sculptures are very unique and well worth the visit. Leave at least an hour to explore the park and see all of the sculptures.

We read a number of positive reviews about Vigeland Park and went to have look. Even after reading a description of the type of sculptures we were not prepared for such a "wow" factor. There are nearly 200 large statues and works that are truly mesmerising. The craftsmanship in bronze and stone is amazing. The figures are of people of... More
