I enjoy the outside; not exactly remarkable, but a nice place for a walk. The museum is maybe a bit expensive and worn down - but kids seem to love it.

We visited the botanical gardens on the way to the Munch musuem (they are opposite). They are lovely to walk around if the weather is good, you can also go into the green houses free of charge and see all kinds of tropical plants.

The park is very nice in the summer, but the season is very short. If you are in Oslo in the period from May to August, it is worth the stroll. The greenhouses is small, and you'll see bigger and better in most other capitals.
