I enjoy the outside; not exactly remarkable, but a nice place for a walk. The museum is maybe a bit expensive and worn down - but kids seem to love it. More

We visited the botanical gardens on the way to the Munch musuem (they are opposite). They are lovely to walk around if the weather is good, you can also go into the green houses free of charge and see all kinds of tropical plants. More

If you´ve got a few days in Oslo, you´re better off visiting the Vigeland Park (Frognerparken) with it´s sculptures and gardens. The botanical garden is good and there are quite a few interesting exhibitions there, but don´t expect the Kew gardens. More

A botanical garden, and a good one at that. When I visited it was a little out-of-shape, but I hear it's renovated now. More

A good place to go for relaxation. The flora is not too exciting, though. More

In the summer especially, this is where you bring your coffee to go and a muffin, and get a tan laying on the grass in the middle of the park. The museums are fun for kids! More

This is a very nice garden, although it cannot compete with the great botanical gardens of the world. But a park is always nice. I learn something new each time I visit. The park is very nice in the summer, but the season is very short. If you are in Oslo in the period from May to August, it is worth the stroll. The greenhouses is small, and you'll see bigger and better in most other capitals. More
