There are two companies offering very similar sightseeing bus tours in Oslo - City Sightseeing (part of the widespread chain) and Oslo Tours. I went on the latter and advise anyone to avoid it. For your £25 you get a commentary that is not much more informative than the automated announcements on a London bus. Many points of interest are... More

There is two different bus lines, don't take the open double deckers- I did and regretted it. The departure location for tours was a little difficult to find- it's out behind the bus station by the Opera House. I don't recommend you taking the Hop on Hop off tour if you are limited on time- it's expensive, and not all... More
