I realize that these old churches are very expensive to maintain and renovate so I always make a contribution, but I didn't think that this was worth 6 EUR per person when Peterskirche and other beautiful churches in Vienna merely ask for donations. Karlsplatz is nice as is the nearby Otto Wagner Pavilion. More

You can go up to the top of the paintings inside the church with a lift and stairs. It is so interesting to see how they painted the ceiling. More

I came here for the Vivaldi Concert which was wonderful (cold inside the church at night so dress warm). You can take photos and it's just so tastefully ornate. The area outside and this church lite up at night makes for dramatic photos. More
