A magnificent palace with a variety of tours ranging from 40 minutes to 3 hours, with varying prices. The wait for an English speaking tour or at least your precise time to start an audio accompanied tour makes the place feel very commercialized. However, the "Grand Tour" is worth the entry fee and in an hour tours rooms in the...

The gardens were beautiful and my favourite part. There is a cafe at the very top of the gardens for a snack after taking some breathe taking pictures of the city. It is extremely easy to get to with the U4 Line and this was my favourite place during our Vienna trip.
There are horse drawn carriage rides and a...

We took Gold passes to see everything, spent 2 days there and still didn't manage to visit all sites of Schonbrunn. Gold pass included 7 attractions, if a remember correct and cost s 54 euros. If you visit all attractions for this pass you will save 20% and time queuing. I would easily spend another day there, just to see...

This historic Palace is beautifully preserved. When yoy pay your entrance fee they will give you an audio tour which is very well explained and will help you have an overview of the Palace.
Our family (2 adults, 2 seniors and 3 children aged 13, 11, and 10) spent half of a day visiting the palace. We easily could have spent the entire day but we had other things planned for our afternoon. The palace is pretty but looks a lot like all the other palaces in Europe. You can get a free audioguide,...

Nothing to dislike - have to wait over an hour for entrance and tour. However, ticket gives you your time and they are courteous and prompt. Do not carry big backpacks as they are not allowed and you would have to check it in for storage until after the tour. Also, you can use your waiting time to check out...

Schonbrunn is massive and the gardens quite extensive but if you can also make it up to the Gloriette then do it. The views are amazing from their and they have a great cafe too. Cake lovers try the house made Gloriette torte. I'm still dreaming of it.
Too early closing 17:00 hrs, gardens if not in full spring bloom well looked after, enjoyed the schlosstour No parktrain or bus up to the glorrierte
My three year old daughter and I loved Schonbrunn. We bought the Sisi pass (includes the Hofburg) and this included the use of audio guide. My daughter listened to the whole recording and was really interested in all the history as it relates to princes and princesses. The imperial apartments are set as they would have been when the castle...
