It cost us 6 euros per person to visit after 8pm but you will need more than 2 hours for the full experience!(the only plus is you will avoid all the school groups!) Fantastic exhibits that are interactive and interesting for all classical music lovers as well as people who are more interested in the 'science' of music!Note: they shut... More

Clever blend of musical facts and artefacts, interactive displays, explanations of pitch and sound, and information on several great composers (with free audio guides). Conducting an orchestra isn't quite as easy as it looks, but it's fun and worth a try. The orchestra will even respond to your conducting, just be prepared for honest feedback! Another fun game is having... More

Great museum. Very hands on. Very educational so learnt a lot about the famous composers. Over 5 floors each themed and had its own original flavour. Would recommend a visit

Definitely a different experience and worth visiting. Lots of interactive sound/ music related stuff to try out and also interesting information on famous composers and the philharmonic orchestra. We mainly went there because of the baby but all the adults ended up having much more fun. Something different compared to regular museums!

A different museum with original ideas, educational as well as entertaining (perhaps mostly for the children), the inventors probably love their work too much; generally there was a bit too much information, the interactions took a little too long (creating queues) etc. Don't try to take in everything, and you should be fine :)

very nice museum, full of information and interactive games. A little bit expensive. Need to spend many hours to see it all otherwise you have to visit it again and pay again..

An interesting diversion in this city of music. We especially liked the floor featuring the great composers of Vienna; the floors where people listen to different exhibits would appeal to the better sorts children.

I'm involved with experience marketing and anything that promises an interactive approach that engages guests will pique my interest. And this haus der musik did not fail. It's very attractive and was created with adults and children in mind. Yup, adults will not feel embarrassed at all working the machines as these are quite intelligently made. The was even a... More

This museum has loads of fun, interactive exhibits sure to keep anyone entertained, no matter the age. I had a lot of fun playing with most of the exhibits, I only moved on from most as there were kids around staring at me, and I'm not heartless enough to not let them have a go :P I'll admit, I sort...
