The atmosphere here is delightful - a baroque coating on a gothic church. There is a well preserved fragment of wallpainting by the altar showing medieval stonemasons that you could easily miss. More

The church is located in the very city centre, close to the residence and the Dome. No entrance fee. The nave dates back to the 12th century (still Romanesque style though, naturally rough local stone was used) while the choir was renewed in the 13th century. Of course we expect old churches to be cold and drafty, but staying bundled up and listening to the most amazing organ literature played on the two organs in this church was incredible. We got there early Dec. 26 and were treated to seats this time (standing room only on Christmas Eve). Learned about the concert just by walking past... More

Probably the most beautiful church in a city of beautiful churches. The small adjacent cemetery is also well worth a visit. More

Really old and nice church, wich apparently, was not touch during the second war. It has several columns in front of the altar, which is rare but still preserve 3 different style of his life , Roman, Gothic and Barroque, it really deserve a visit. More

this church still in use offers concerts and religious services daily. Look at the beautiful stained glass windows and architecture. This church is cold all year round even on a hot day in the summer it is surprisingly cold inside. More
