Nice to see a somewhat Turkish culture that embraces its heritage without seeking to stiffle or destroy it. Well worth a visit.

Lots of iconsall around church and icons on screen on right as you enter. Some amazing wooden carved objects like the pulpit and the priests chair. Nice icon of St. George and then drtagon and some gruesome icons of christ with the wound after removed from cross. Only takes a very short visit not a lot to see.

We visited this museum as part of an organised trip to Famagusta. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and we found the history of the area facinating. It is a very peaceful place.
