Most of this extensive site is out in the open and so you need to take with you plenty of water. I was with my 80 year old parents who are a little unsteady on their feet and so they stayed near the 'centre' where there are good undercover refreshment facilities/shop. When I returned from my 'explorations' they said it... More

The beach although pebbly has some sandy areas, which complements the Roman remains up on the hill, there is an amazing ampitheatre, and lovely mosaics, the view across the beach. There is so much to see there and great value for money at €1.70 i think it was to wander around a huge and amazing site. More

We drove to Kourion from Limassol you pay at the entrancr and then drive up to the visitors centre. Whilst the visitors centre itself is not much the ruins them selves and the views are a great experience we went on Boxing day and was deserted, which may have made the experience even better. Views from the cliff are great... More

Kourion is our favourite beach with the waves and sea cliffs. The first beache cafe is also our favourite out of the ones there, a bit more rough and ready but friendly. My wife likes the beach whilst I like wandering around the ruins at the top of the cliff and walking along the paths More

My partner and I toured south-west and central Cyprus for three days last week, and this was certainly the highlight. For less than two euro each, we were given full access to this extensive archaeological site, which included a beautifully restored Roman theatre and some wonderful Roman mosaics, which are among the finest on the island. Given the nation's apparent... More

One of the best archaelogical sites on Cyprus. The resored theatre is the jewel in the crown but there ae so many other areas of interest , including Roman mosaics. Many of the most interesting areas have been covered to provide some protesction from the sun but also provides shade to make viewing a lot more comfortable. The position of... More

We entered joking about a drive through ancient monument and left having enjoyed a truely remarkable walk around this spectacular site. The experience starts on the top of a large bluff that overlooks the sea and gives a wide view of the coastline. Well made and marked paths provide access to the many feaures available. Some are covered with large... More

The Kourion (Curium) Greco-Roman theater is build on a hillside close to the village of Erimi, Limassol Cyprus. It has a capacity of 1,500 seats and is still used throughout the year for various cultural events. To enter you need to stop and pay the guard at the gate, who will then release the entrance doors for you to enter.... More
