Loved swimming outside when it was +3C. The water was great and there were lots of options to sit, swim, steambath, and/or enjoy the whirlpool. Where else could you choose the temperature of your whirlpool ,,, 38, 40, 42, or 44 degrees?

During our two week stay in Iceland, we basically found ourselves in local swimming pools every day. These are fantastic, cheap, a great way to relax after a day of hiking/driving, and a great way to hang out with locals. We really enjoyed the huge shallow pool. We played on the small slide, although it is a bit in poor repair. The warm water jets on the slide are nice. There was a lot of renovation going on during our visit, so, unfortunately, some of the visual effect of the hot-tubs was lost for us. The price for the city...

Went here today the photos look like its brand new. It is not , it was built some years ago and was being re built while we were there. Some areas are closed and concrete works are ongoing so walkways are between ropes to keep you safe. The hot tubs are under a tarpaulin lean-to the builders have erected. The...

This is a very cool activity that is very popular amongst the locals. Outdoor swimming! I went when it was about 30 degrees out. It was definetly fun and different than what I am used to. There is a slide that is very fun. You should try to bring all your own items (towels, flip flops, soap etc) they have...
