After parking your car, there is a 1 km walk to the entrance. Tickets are 10 euros for adult and 5 euros for children from 6-17 years of age. The best side of this park is you feel animal's freedom. The environment for each animal was as close to its preference as was possible in this climate, and I was gratified to see the animals in a healthy physical state and displaying natural behaviour. The Siberian Tiger exhibit was my favourite, although he is rather reclusive. The Karhu/bear exhibits and some of the cat-family ones were great as well. More

So, if you want to see some animals in Korkeasaari, I'd recommend that you go there in the spring or in the fall because most of the animals are hiding in the shadows when you visit the zoo in the summer (it's just too hot during daytime).
