Recomend catching the ferry to get you there, lots to see in the zoo, we spent around 4 hrs there. Several places to eat (which provide gluten free food to when asked) and many places to eat a picnic or bbq. Small childrens park under construction. Very clean.

Happy to see animals in such a good and clean zoo! All the territory is on one irland, with few cafes and restaurants.

After parking your car, there is a 1 km walk to the entrance.
Tickets are 10 euros for adult and 5 euros for children from 6-17 years of age.
The best side of this park is you feel animal's freedom. Space available for each animal is above average that I've seen before.
The island is well adopted to a zoo....

There are nice shades for the animals and their living conditions are very...

Good place to have a picnic with family. I was there in the start of March 2012, of course, the animals look very good with snow... but from my point of view, in winter time it's not a very good place.
