This is a very nice shopping street in the middle of the town, with the Southern end leading to Gamla Stan (old town). The street is lined with shops and restos, along with malls such as Ahlens and NK. You can spend several hours browsing through the stores and trying out the different restaurants or cafes. Prices are relatively cheap... More

The name means Queen Street and runs from the Old Town to the Observatory Hill. The southern part is pedestrian only and you will find lots of shops (many clothing). There are a number of restaurants as well especially in the northern part. You will find two dept stores along it: PUB (which has nothing to do with beer) and... More

Nice place to walk, for shopping or going to the old town. It leads also to the Parliament building. Do not miss the "Homeless Fox" sculpture of Laura Ford, right at the corner with Stromgatan!

This is the shopping pedestrian street of Stockholm with colourful ambience. The street is full of visitors and locals and is an ideal tourist shopping and dining area.

We loved shopping, dining, and walking every corner of this street. We started from the park and walked all the way down to Gamla Stan. Along the way it was interesting how many H&M are along the street.
