My wife and I were recommended this hotel and all was well until the last evening. We had an early flight back to the UK and had requested an early morning call (4.30am) We arrived back in our room at 10pm but were unable to sleep because a Rock Band was performing on campus. The constant beat of the bass... More

DGI-Byen is a popular hotel for people on a budget that I didn't know about until our stay in Copenhagen. But I wanted a foot massage for my tired feet and scheduled an appointment in the health spa on the DGI premises. What a treat! My massage practitioner was very efficient, pleasant and even suggested ways for me to take... More

The receptionist told us that the things happening just would not bother us as we were located, obviously a lie. Luckily my kids slept through all of it, I didn't though. The party just outside the hotel was a. House party with approx 10000 guests and a heavy bass - who needs nightmares... More

The site advertises a hotel with moderate amenities and a fitness center with a pool. Well, the amenities are one bottle of generic body gel/shampoo soap for the bathroom (on the shower wall); and a pool. No gym or other fitness facility whatsoever. Plus, the place was overrun with families, kids running up and down the hall at all hours.... More

I had to go to Copenhagen for a business meeting with a very short notice. The hotels that our client suggested were full booked due to a major conference in the city on the same dates, so I had to look for something else, and found this hotel after a bit of search. I would not mind to return, even... More

Lovely Hotel thats so easy to find, and beautifully close to the centre of the city making it so convenient. The room was large and spacious and very tidy. It came with such a huge selection of complimentary tea and coffee it took longer to decide what to drink, than to drink it. Huge windows onto the balcony gave good... More

I stayed there in third week of August and I can say that my stay was nice. We had a big room and two adults and two children with lots of space left. The price was very good 1250. danish kronas for the room per night including breakfast and swimming pool. The nearby train station, Tivoli and Ströget in just... More

No air condition, super super hot!! , but can't open the window because of the train noise. Attached swimming pool is popular for local kids and family but opens only till 4 pm for the weekend. Staff are helpfull but not so friendly. More

Stayed at DGI-byen for two nights. Could not get access to the room until 2.00 p.m. Having travelled into Copenhagen on the early flight and had been travelling from 3.00 a.m. really wanted early access but the staff were not particularly helpful about arranging earlier access. The close proximity to Tivoli Gardens was a bonus and compensated for the noise... More

Stayed: July 2003, for 3 nights, payed around $250 per night for two. Location: very near station but super noisy. since hotel building is right alongside railway truck. So don't even try to open the window. Atomosphere: youth hostel?? Check in: it did take ages and no welcome word or smile. Decoration: Not bad at all but it was like... More
