We waited until dusk to visit as our Danish friends said it'd be much better to see all the lights once it got dark and they were right. It was also the Champions League final that night so there was a huge screen set up with many people watching so there was a great atmosphere. We enjoyed watching people on...

Great place to visit for day time and evening. There is a free rock concert on every Friday evening. Whole place is dated but that is its charm.

Although the locals are extremely proud of the place and the shots on the tourist communication materials look great, I'm not especially fond of the place. The facilities are kinda old and I don't find the rides exciting. I was quite surprised that I could hear people screaming from the park at Copenhagen Central Station. Perhaps it's really good for...

If you are travelling during december, you should stop here for a walk around the tivoli christmas market. Very authentic and everything you would want to see about in a christmas market. Very expensive to get in, but worth it!

The gardens are easily reached from the city centre and really feel well looked after.
Scenery is beautiful with a combination of fountains, plants & trees, and lakes. The amusement section is very family focused with rides for both older and younger children.
There are several restaurants (pricey) and an ice cream parlour for sunnier days.
