I'm going to be honest, I'm not really a viking history buff, so my review may be biased. The museum, to me, unoriginal. It had display cases with old artifacts and some interactive exhibits. To me, it wasn't memorable in comparison to the dozens of other museums I've visited. Most interesting to me was the Grauballe Man, a mummy preserved... More

See the man found in a bog around 2000 years ago. You can also see many advances in agriculture and in people's lives throughout the years. With the Viking Museum worth the money for the whole family. More

The grounds of Moesgaard are worth a trip in and of themselves. Seriously gorgeous nature. The museum is also nice; the 7 Vikinger exhibit is wonderful for kids. More

I liked the displays, made me interested for the whole visit even if I am not big fan of archeological museums. More

Museum is interesting, but the grounds and park surrounding the museum are absolutely wonderful every season of the year - highly recommend! More

The museum has a very interesting exhibition on the period of the Vikings and also often presents other different interesting exhibitions. Is located very very nicely in the old wood and near the sea, also a very nice place to go for a long walk or to picnic. More

The Moesgard Museum may be a ways off the beaten path, however, it was worth the drive! The exhibits were (for the most part) available in both English and Danish and there was a great variety of ancient artifacts, temporary exhibitions and activities for people of different age groups. One cool interactive activity was a walkthrough of an exhibit area,... More

Moesgaard Museum is very interesting. Especilly because it holds the body of the grauballe man. It is a naturally preserved human corpse found in a nearby sphagnum bog. The grauballe man was sacrified in the ironage. More

Really impressed by this museum. It was really very well done. Great for kids. The bog man is awesome. You can dress up as a Viking and take your photo. The exhibits are fantastically displayed. There are interactive exhibits and simulations. You can sail your own Viking ship and there is a break out area with free tea and coffee,... More
