It was expensive - but it was worthwhile - the little village it is located in is beautiful and you feel you have stepped back 200 years! More

This museum is just right for people, who do not want to spend days on it. Small and with historically, super-relevant background information. Highly recommendable! More

This museum is beautifully presented, and goes through the history of both HCA and Denmark (and even world events). Interesting, and probably the town's biggest attraction given HCA's home. More

Museum presented very well different details and facts from Andersens life. I had a great time there by discovering new things about such a great writer. More

Informative, well documented museum about the life of HCA since birth till death and you can easily kill 2 hours there. After visiting we picked one of this panphlets " in Hc Anderssen steps" and took a very nice walk that lead us to the buildings of Odense which had some sort of meaning in its life. Its a great... The museum was renovated on the recent occasion of HC Andersen's birthday anniversary. It is an extremely well organised, informative exhibition, connecting with Andersen's bhirthplace in the old centre of Odense. Well worth a visti even if you are not a fan of his tales - there is much more to the man than generally known. More

Such a cool museum! H.C. Andersen is my favorite authot & it was an honor visiting the places of his childhood. The museum is great with so much to see & learn. The Tinderbox - a cultural centre for children next to the H.C. Andersen Museum has a pretty cool parade/performance of many of the fairty tales in Danish. Bring... More
